BEFORE INSTALLATION
GET PREPARED BEFORE THE DAY OF INSTALLATION
- Create a clear path through your home for easy access to the demo/installation area.
- Remove all items from entertainment centers, china cabinets, bookcases, closets and closet floors, pantry floors, etc.
- Move all breakables and decorative accessories, such as lamps, pictures, vases, mirrors, antiques, all drawers with items and/or clothing in them, and other valuables from the areas affected by installation work.
- Move all furniture out of the installation area. If we are moving your furniture pieces, all items must be removed from them before we arrive.
- Make sure your pets are in a secure part of your house. Our Installers will frequently be in and out of your house throughout the installation, and we want to make sure that your fur babies don't sneak out while we're not looking!
DURING INSTALLATION
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR INSTALLATION
- Keep children and pets away from the installation area.
- If you are not present during installation, please make sure all pets are securely kept away from the installation area. And even if you will be home, please make sure your pets are in a secure part of your house. Our Installers will frequently be in and out of your house throughout the installation, and we want to make sure that your fur babies don't sneak out while we're not looking!
- Installing carpet takes time and great focus. If you have questions, please do not distract your installer. Simply direct your concerns immediately to your Project Manager or Designer.
- Please understand during the demo and/or installation process, there will be various tools, carpet and pad rolls, setting materials, etc., all within the space being renovated. We do consider this a construction area. Please be cognizant of the fact that this is a process that includes many steps.
- We will cover and protect any furniture and appliances, if necessary before we begin the demo.
AFTER INSTALLATION
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AFTER YOUR INSTALLATION
- Immediately begin proper care and maintenance. Always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations to maintain your warranty and keep your new tile or stone looking its best.
- Unless otherwise stated in your invoice, our installers will take away and dispose of all flooring that our Installers took up.
- If we moved your furniture before your installation, we will move it back into its original spots within the installation area.
- Enjoy your new carpet!
