BEFORE INSTALLATION
GET PREPARED BEFORE THE DAY OF INSTALLATION
ALL HANDS ON DECK! IT'S ALMOST SHOWTIME!
- Create a clear path through your home for easy access to the demo/installation area.
- Remove all items from entertainment centers, china cabinets, bookcases, drawers, closets and closet floors, pantry floors, etc.
- Move all breakable and non-breakable decorative accessories, such as lamps, pictures, vases, mirrors, antiques, all drawers with items and/or clothing in them, and other valuables from installation areas and the pathway to those areas.
- If in doubt about what our Installers will move and what they won't remember, they only move emptied furniture. Everything else is your responsibility.
- If you are moving your furniture, you must have this done before our Installers arrive. If Brian's is moving your furniture pieces, all contents must be removed from them before we arrive. *Refer to your Installation Preparation Packet for specific details regarding what furniture pieces we will and will not move.
DURING INSTALLATION
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR INSTALLATION
- Keep children and pets away from the installation area.
- If you will not be present during installation, please make sure all pets are locked up and safe from the installation zone. And please remember, even if you will be home, please make sure your pets are in a secure part of your house. Our Installers will frequently be in and out of your house throughout the installation, and we want to make sure that your fur babies don't sneak out while we're not looking!
- Installing LVP takes time and great focus. If you have questions, please do not distract your installer. Simply direct your concerns immediately to your Project Manager or Designer.
- Please understand during the installation process, especially during the demo, there will be dust and debris, various tools, cut pieces of LVP and trims, and setting materials within the space being renovated. We do consider this a construction area. Please be cognizant of the fact that this is a process that includes many steps.
AFTER INSTALLATION
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AFTER YOUR INSTALLATION
- Immediately begin proper care and maintenance. Always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations to maintain your warranty and keep your new luxury vinyl floors looking their best.
- Unless otherwise stated in your invoice, our installers will take away and dispose of all flooring they took up.
- If we moved your furniture before your installation, we will move it back into its original spots within the installation area.
- Enjoy your living on your new floors!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Luxury vinyl floors were made for living—not stressing! Sweep or vacuum daily to keep dust and debris in check (your floors will thank you, and so will your bare feet).
